Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) is free for use. You only need to pay the fees incurred by the cloud resources that you create in ACK. This topic describes the billing methods adopted by frequently used cloud resources.
- If you are using dedicated Kubernetes and managed Kubernetes clusters, you are charged based on the amount of resources that are automatically created by ACK and that you manually create. These resources include Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, Server Load Balancer (SLB) instances, and NAT gateways. Note that you do not need to create master nodes in managed Kubernetes clusters.
- If you are using serverless Kubernetes clusters, you are charged based on the amount of resources that are created in the clusters. These resources include Elastic Container Instances (ECIs), SLB instances, and NAT gateways.
