Alibaba Cloud supports global phone verification services, but the communication service may vary from different countries and regions based on the particular service providers. If you do not receive a call or a text message, make sure that you have a fair network connectivity. If the network is not the problem, contact us and attach a screenshot of your registration page, which helps in locating the error and fixing the issue in much lesser time.
No, payment method is not required when signing up. However, it is required when purchasing products and services on Alibaba Cloud.
If you intend to make any purchase, you must either add a credit card or PayPal account to the Alibaba Cloud account.
For Alibaba Cloud VIP customers, you can use credit payment or offline payment methods. Open a ticket or contact your business developer to enable any of these payment methods.
