The ack-workflow component is a cloud-native workflow engine that is developed based on Argo Workflows. This topic introduces ack-workflow and describes the installation steps and release notes for ack-workflow.

Introduction

ack-workflow is developed based on the Argo Workflows project and allows you to deploy large workflows. ack-workflow is suitable for standardized workflow scenarios, such as AI inference, autonomous driving simulation, and genome sequencing tasks.

Install ack-workflow

You can install ack-workflow on the Add-ons page of the Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) console:

  1. Install ack-workflow.
    1. Log on to the ACK console.
    2. On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and choose More > Manage Components in the Actions column.
    3. On the Add-ons page, search for ack-workflow.
    4. Find ack-workflow and click Install.
    5. In the Install ack-workflow message, click OK.
  2. Check the deployment progress of ack-workflow.
    1. Log on to the ACK console.
    2. On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click the name of the cluster or click Details in the Actions column. The details page of the cluster appears.
    3. In the left-side navigation pane of the cluster details page, choose Applications > Helm.
    4. On the Helm page, check the deployment progress of ack-workflow.
      If the Status column displays Deployed for ack-workflow, ack-workflow is deployed.
