A user group is the basic unit for resource allocation. You can manage multiple users as a user group in the AI O&M console. This topic describes how to manage users in the AI O&M console.

Prerequisites

  • The AI O&M console is installed. For more information, see Deploy the cloud-native AI component set.
  • The credentials of the Resource Access Management (RAM) user that is specified as the administrator of the AI O&M console are obtained.
  • A quota group is created. For more information, see Add a quota group.

Add a user group

  1. Log on to the ACK console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the ACK console, click Clusters.
  3. On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage and click the name of the cluster or click Details in the Actions column. The details page of the cluster appears.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane of the details page, choose Applications > Cloud-native AI Component Set (Public Preview).
  5. After the AI O&M console is installed, click O&M Console in the upper-left corner of the Cloud-native AI Component Set page.

  6. In the left-side navigation pane of the AI O&M console, choose User > UserGroups.
  7. On the UserGroups page, click Add.
  8. In the Add User Group dialog box, set the parameters.
    1. Select or enter a user group name, select one or more quotas, and select one or more users. The Name and Quota parameters are required. The Users parameter is optional.
    2. Click Save.
  9. After the user group is created, you can view the user group on the UserGroups page.

Update a user group

  1. Log on to the AI O&M console by using the credentials of the RAM user that is configured as the administrator.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the AI O&M console, choose User > UserGroups.
  3. On the UserGroups page, find the user group that you want to update and click Edit in the Operator column.
  4. In the Edit User Group dialog box, modify the user group name or change the users in the user group based on your requirements.
    Note You cannot change the quota that is attached to the user group.
  5. Click Save.

Search for a user group

  1. Log on to the AI O&M console by using the credentials of the RAM user that is configured as the administrator.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the AI O&M console, choose User > UserGroups.
  3. On the UserGroups page, enter the user group name in the Name search box and click Search.

Delete a user group

  1. Log on to the AI O&M console by using the credentials of the RAM user that is configured as the administrator.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the AI O&M console, choose User > UserGroups.
  3. On the UserGroups page, find the user group that you want to delete and click Delete in the Operator column.
