Last Updated:Aug 03, 2023

A user group is the basic unit for resource allocation. You can manage multiple users as a user group in AI Dashboard. This topic describes how to manage users in AI Dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • The cloud-native AI suite is installed. For more information, see Install the cloud-native AI suite.

  • The credentials of the Resource Access Management (RAM) user that is specified as the administrator of AI Dashboard are obtained. For more information about RAM users, see Overview of RAM users.

  • A quota group is added. For more information, see Add a quota group.

Add a user group

  1. Log on to the ACK console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.

  2. On the Clusters page, click the name of the cluster that you want to manage and choose Applications > Cloud-native AI Suite in the left-side navigation pane.

  3. In the upper-left corner of the Cloud-native AI Suite page, click AI Dashboard.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane of AI Dashboard, choose User > UserGroups.

  5. On the UserGroups page, click Add. In the Add User Group dialog box, set the parameters and click Save.

  6. Optional: On the UserGroups page, you can search for, modify, or delete a user group.

    Important

When you modify a user group, you cannot change the quota that is assigned to the user group.
