PolarTools is a set of PolarDB client tools for Alibaba Cloud Linux, Rocky Linux, CentOS Stream, and CentOS. PolarTools consists of the following tools:
psql: the tool used by clients to connect to native PostgreSQL databases.

pg_dump: the logical backup tool of PostgreSQL. You can use this tool to back up a database of a cluster.

pg_dumpall: the logical backup tool of PostgreSQL. You can use this tool to back up all databases of a cluster at a time.

pg_restore: the tool used to restore PostgreSQL databases from backup files that are created by pg_dump and pg_dumpall.

Download and install PolarTools
Download the PolarTools installation package by clicking one of the following links:
Run the following command to install PolarTools:
rpm -ivh PolarDB-O-Tools-0200-2.0.0-.alios7.x86_64.rpmNoteUse the name of your installation package to replace the sample name used in the preceding command.
After the tool is installed, the tool appears in the /usr/local/polardb_o_tools_current/bin directory of the system.
