    CDN:After I change the metering method of Alibaba Cloud CDN, why am I still billed based on the previous metering method?

    The new metering method may not take effect due to the following reasons:

    • The new metering method takes effect only after the current billing cycle ends. Take note of the following rules:

      • If the current metering method is pay-by-data-transfer, the new metering method takes effect at 00:00 (UTC+8) on the next day.

      • If the current metering method is pay-by-peak-bandwidth and you are billed on a daily basis, the new metering method takes effect at 00:00 (UTC+8) on the next day.

      • If the current metering method is pay-by-95th-percentile-bandwidth and you are billed on a monthly basis, the new metering method takes effect at 00:00 (UTC+8) on the first day of the next month.

    • It takes 3 to 4 hours for the system to issue bills. Bills that are issued within 3 to 4 hours after you change the metering method of Alibaba Cloud CDN are calculated based on the previous metering method. Check whether bills are delayed if Alibaba Cloud CDN is stilled billed based on the previous metering method. For more information, see Billing overview.
