According to the relevant regulations annoucned by the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia, starting from 2025, the VAT levied by Alibaba Cloud on customers registered in Indonesia will be increased from 11% to 12%. In effect, 12% VAT will be charged on services consumed on or after 2025. All Indonesian VAT collected will be remitted to the Indonesian tax authority.
