A bucket is a container for storing objects. All objects must be stored in a bucket. Buckets have various configurable properties, such as region, access permissions, and storage class. You can create different types of buckets to store different data as needed.
Naming conventions
An Alibaba Cloud account can have a maximum of 100 buckets in each region. After a bucket is created, its name cannot be changed. The naming conventions for buckets are as follows:

The name must be globally unique in OSS.

The name can contain only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (-).

The name must start and end with a lowercase letter or a number.

The name must be 3 to 63 characters long.
