This topic describes how to configure the call analysis feature in the Function Compute console and how to view the call analysis information.

Overview.

Enable Insights when you create a service

  1. Log on to the Function Compute console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Services and Functions.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Kubernetes cluster is deployed.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Services and Functions. Click Create Service in the upper-right corner of the Services pane.

  5. On the Create Service page, enter a service name, select Enable, and then click OK.
    Note After this feature is enabled, call analysis is enabled for all functions under the service.

Enable Insights for a created service

  1. Log on to the Function Compute console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Services and Functions.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Kubernetes cluster is deployed.
  4. On the Services page, find the target service. In the Actions column, click Configure.
  5. In the Log Configuration section of the Edit page, select Log Function and Request-level Metrics next to Enable, and click OK.

View the invocation metrics for a function

After you enable Insights for your service, Function Compute automatically records the invocation metrics for all functions in the service. You can perform the following steps to view the invocation metrics for a function:

  1. Log on to the Function Compute console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Services and Functions.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Kubernetes cluster is deployed.
  4. On the Functions page, click the name of the function that you want to manage.
  5. On the function details page, click the Call Log tab, set the parameters to query the call analysis, and click OK to view the call analysis information.
