OpenSearch provides built-in dictionaries to reduce the difficulty in using the query analysis feature and improve the flexibility of query analysis. You can also create custom intervention dictionaries to reduce the time used to manually enter required information. The built-in dictionaries include dictionaries for synonym configuration, spelling correction, stop word filtering, and term weight analysis, as shown in the following figure.
You cannot configure or delete the built-in dictionaries.
By default, when you create a custom query analysis rule, Built-in Dictionary is selected to enrich query statements. You cannot clear Built-in Dictionary.
If you specify a custom intervention dictionary when you create a custom query analysis rule, the built-in dictionaries and the custom intervention dictionary are used in combination. If an entry in the built-in dictionaries conflicts with that in the custom intervention dictionary, the entry in the custom intervention dictionary prevails.
