    This topic describes how to use Alibaba Cloud Public DNS Commercial Edition.

    Procedure

    1. Activate Alibaba Cloud Public DNS in the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.

    After this service is activated, Alibaba Cloud Public DNS provides a free monthly quota of resolutions. If your monthly free quota is used up, you are charged for excess resolutions on a pay-as-you-go basis.

    1. Configure Alibaba Cloud Public DNS as your DNS service.

    Select an access method to configure Alibaba Cloud Public DNS as your DNS service. For more information, see the HTTP or HTTPS-based access methods section of the "Use Alibaba Cloud Public DNS as your DNS service" topic.

    1. Optional. Enable service authentication.

    To prevent your Public DNS from being used by unauthorized users, we recommend that you enable service authentication.

    1. View statistics of DNS requests in the console.

    After you configure Alibaba Cloud Public DNS as your DNS service, you can view the statistics of DNS requests on the Traffic Analysis tabs on the Public DNS page in the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.
