Internet- and VPC-connected instances of ApsaraMQ for Kafka can be accessed over the Internet.
ApsaraMQ for Kafka provides VPC-connected instances and Internet- and VPC-connected instances. If you want to access ApsaraMQ for Kafka over the Internet, purchase an Internet- and VPC-connected instance. If you purchased a VPC-connected instance, click Upgrade on the Instance Details page and change the network type to Internet and VPC. For more information, see Upgrade instance specifications.
Exceptions may occur if a client in the Chinese mainland connects to an ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance outside the Chinese mainland over the Internet or a client outside Chinese mainland connects to an ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance in the Chinese mainland over the Internet.
