This topic uses an OSS schema as an example to describe how to manually synchronize data.
If ApsaraDB for RDS (RDS) contains an empty table (with only the table structure but no data), DLA cannot synchronize the structure of the empty table to OSS during data synchronization, and you cannot create a mapping table for the empty table in DLA.
Log on to the Data Lake Analytics console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where your DLA service is located.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Schema.
On the Schema page, find the target schema and click Details in the Operation column.
Note: The schema that is labeled One Click DW is the schema created by the one-click DW wizard.
On the Configuration tab of the Schema page, Source Data and Position opening configuration of the schema are displayed. Click Sync now to synchronize data from RDS to OSS and create the same table structure in OSS as in RDS.
After the data synchronization task is completed, you can view the synchronized RDS data in OSS.
View OSS tables on the Table tab of the Schema page.
After creating an OSS table in DLA, you can perform the following operations on the OSS table:
Click Query for the target table to go to the Execute page. You can click SELECT for data analysis.
Click Delete for the target table to delete the OSS table as prompted.
