This topic describes how to create a BI portal.

Procedure

  1. In the top navigation bar, click Workspace.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, select a group workspace from the workspace list.
    You can create a BI portal in a personal workspace or a group workspace. In this example, a group workspace is selected. 1
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click BI Portals.
  4. On the BI Portals page, click Create BI Portal.
  5. On the page that appears, you can configure the parameters in the Site Config panel and the Menu Config panel.
    • Site Config: You can configure the parameters for the BI portal. For example, you can configure the title, upload the logo image file, and edit the footer for the BI portal.

    • Menu Config: You can configure menus for the BI portal. For example, you can add or delete menus, modify menu levels, and configure menu names.

    • Page configuration: drag the right border of the left-side navigation pane to resize the width.
  6. Click Save.

BI portal configuration

  1. On the configuration page of the BI portal, click the icon marked with ① in the following figure to configure the BI portal. 1
    Category Configuration item Description
    Normal Config Title You can customize the title of the BI portal.
    Layout Valid values: Left And Top, Left, and Top.
    Top Navigation Bar Select Style Valid values: Underline, Selected Word, and Selected Block.
    Theme Valid values: dark, light, and custom.
    LOGO You can click Upload to upload your custom logo image file.
    Note
    • The image resolution must be greater than 60 pixels × 60 pixels and less than 180 pixels × 60 pixels.
    • The size of the image that you upload cannot exceed 100 KB.
    Alias You can customize the alias of the BI portal. The specified value is added to the portal URL. For example, if you set this parameter to 1, the alias is https://daily.yunbi.biz.aliyun.test/product/1.htm.Alias
    Advanced configuration Show Subtitle After you select this option, you can add a subtitle for the portal.
    Show Footer After you select this option, you can customize the footer. The footer is displayed at the bottom of the content page.
    Show Menu Crumbs If you select this option, the menu levels are displayed at the top of the content page.
    Cache Menu If you select this option and open multiple menus, menus do not need to be reloaded when you switch between the menus.
  2. Click Save.

Menu configuration

  1. You can use one of the following methods to go to the Menu Config panel:
    • Click a menu option in the top navigation bar or the left-side navigation pane.
    • Click the icon marked with ① next to Site Config, as shown in the following figure. BI portal
  2. In the panel that appears, configure Menu Config and Content settings.

    Category Configuration item Description
    Menu Config Add main menu Adds a level-1 menu.
    Note You can also drag and drop a menu to adjust the level of the menu.
    Hides a menu. If a parent menu is hidden, the child menus are also hidden.

    If you want to show a hidden menu, click this icon again.

    Adds a level-2 menu or a menu at a lower level.
    Specifies a menu as the homepage. When you open the BI portal, this homepage appears.
    Deletes a menu.
    Content settings Menu display name The name of a menu.
    Show menu icon Configures the icon of a menu.

    You can configure icons for the menus at all the levels.

    Menu can fold Specifies whether a menu can be folded.
    Default folding Specifies the default state of a menu.
    Note This option is available only if Menu can fold is selected.
    Set to empty node If this option is selected, you cannot configure the menu content.
    Content settings The following content types are supported:
    • Dashboard
    • Workbook
    • Data form
    View mode Valid values: Open in current page and Open in a new window.
    Note This parameter cannot be configured if Set to empty node is selected.
  3. Click Save.
