To continuously provide you with higher-quality and more stable services, the MongoDB Search feature for ApsaraDB for MongoDB will officially conclude its free trial and transition to commercial billing on August 7, 2026. To prevent any unexpected impact on your business, please promptly verify your Search node configurations and monitor your billing changes. For detailed information regarding the impact and recommended actions, please refer to the following:
Impact Details
After commercial billing takes effect, your existing MongoDB Search nodes will continue to function normally. However, starting from your next renewal or billing cycle, the system will automatically charge you based on the actual specifications of your Search nodes.

Billing Method
MongoDB Search nodes are billed separately for computing resources and storage space:

- Computing: Priced at 80% of the standard single-node pricing for the primary instance of the same specification.
- Storage: Priced identically to the per-node storage pricing of the primary instance.
Action required
Please log in to the console promptly to verify your Search node configurations and monitor any billing changes.
If you do not plan to continue using the service, please make sure to manually release your Search nodes before August 6, 2026, to avoid incurring additional charges.
Please ensure you back up your data and evaluate your business needs before releasing the nodes.
