There are 13 new updates across 8 database products in November, which are:

  • Support Cluster Lock Feature on PolarDB to prevent pay-as-you-go instances from being released by mistake;
  • Release RDS For MySQL Serverless edition which only bills resources that actually be used reducing costs by up to 50%, especially suitable for business with sparse workload;
  • Support Connection Troubleshooting Feature on RDS MySQL, RDS PostgreSQL and RDS SQL Server to facilitate network issue handling;
  • Support TDE on RDS PostgreSQL (with ESSD) to improve data security;
  • Support instance pause on pay-as-you-go RDS SQL Server instances to save costs;
  • Released ApsaraDB for MongoDB version 6.0
  • Release AnalyticDB for MySQL 3.0 in the Philippines and South Korea regions
