Enterprise Distributed Application Service:EDAS workflow

Last Updated:Mar 12, 2026

This topic describes the workflow for using Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) to create applications in Kubernetes and Elastic Compute Service (ECS) clusters.

Kubernetes applications

The following figure shows the workflow for creating a Kubernetes application.

The workflow is as follows:

  1. Create a Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) cluster. For more information, see Create an ACK managed cluster.

  2. Import the container cluster into EDAS. For more information, see Import a Container Service for Kubernetes cluster in the EDAS console.

  3. Create an application. For more information, see Deploy an application in a Container Service for Kubernetes cluster.

  4. Enable public access to the application. For more information, see Add a Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instance.

  5. View change records. For more information, see View application changes.

  6. View application logs. For more information, see View file logs.

  7. View service monitoring data. For more information, see View application overview.

ECS applications

The following figure shows the workflow for creating an ECS application.

The workflow is as follows:

  1. Create an ECS cluster. For more information, see Create an ECS cluster in the console.

  2. Import ECS instances into the ECS cluster. For more information, see Scale out an ECS cluster in the console.

  3. Create an application. For more information, see Create and deploy an application in an ECS cluster.

  4. Bind a Server Load Balancer (SLB) instance. For more information, see Server Load Balancer overview.

  5. View change records. For more information, see View application changes.

  6. View application logs. For more information, see View instance logs.

  7. View service monitoring data. For more information, see Application monitoring overview.
