Alibaba Cloud Supports Télécom ParisTech in France and China

As part of the partnership signed with Télécom ParisTech, Alibaba Cloud will participate and support training young students on Cloud Computing and also in providing technical resources

Paris, France – November 8, 2018 - Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group today announced the signing of a partnership with the engineering school Télécom ParisTech, a founding member of a world-class science and technology institution alongside the École polytechnique, ENSAE ParisTech, ENSTA ParisTech and Télécom SudParis. The practical applications of this partnership will take effect in September 2019, including several initiatives in China and France aimed at reinforcing the teaching of new technologies in the school curriculum at Télécom ParisTech while facilitating the integration of students into the workplace.

In France, Alibaba Cloud will be included in the Télécom ParisTech Contact Program. In this context, the global cloud infrastructure leader will share its expertise in the cloud, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and IoT with the students of the school. In addition, Alibaba Cloud will invest in educational and continuing education programs. Thus, the firm will set up joint training programs. The idea is also to facilitate the integration of students into the professional world by allowing them to take control of enterprise-level solutions. Alibaba Cloud will also participate in the continuing education program of Télécom ParisTech.

In China, Alibaba Cloud will participate in the implementation of courses on the public cloud, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and IoT on the campus of ParisTech Shanghai (SJTU ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology), created in the framework of a partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Alibaba Cloud will also provide students with a cloud platform so they can experiment as part of their practical work. As part of the Alibaba Cloud University Cooperation Program, each student can benefit from a dozen professional training courses on Alibaba Cloud solutions and the an ECS instances. Teachers can access 15 or so similar courses, the ECS instances and the RDS instances.
