Alibaba Cloud Showcases Leading-Edge Solutions to Malaysian Enterprises to Accelerate Digital Transformation

Leading cloud provider signs MOU with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad to use Big Data and AI to expedite financial inclusion

Kuala Lumpur, July 31, 2019 – Alibaba Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, today showcased its leading-edge solutions to Malaysian enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation at the first cloud summit held by the company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The summit drew participation from executives representing Malaysia’s top 100 companies, industry leaders, and tech experts to discuss the technologies and solutions brought by Alibaba Cloud. At the summit, Alibaba Cloud also signed an MOU with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad to use Big Data and AI to expedite financial inclusion.

At the summit, Alibaba Cloud also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, one of the leading banks in Malaysia, in their effort to enable better access to financial services using technology, and tackle challenges of security and compliance that typically found in banking industry.
