Alibaba Cloud Offers Customers Wide Variety of Options to Run SAP Solutions To Accelerate Digital Transformation of Businesses

Orlando, [June 5th], 2018 – Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group and an SAP global technology partner, announced at SAPPHIRE NOW® that it offers a wide variety of options for customers to run their SAP solutions on Alibaba Cloud, on operating systems of their choice and on SAP HANA®. Enterprises can leverage Alibaba Cloud's robust infrastructure and computing power to realize greater business value through Alibaba Cloud's global infrastructure.

Alibaba Cloud and SAP China started a strategic partnership back in April 2016. Alibaba Cloud was certified for SAP HANA on Alibaba Cloud's enterprise-level memory-enhanced ECS in Aug 2017, and was one of the first in China to pass SAP's certification of running SAP Business Suite (on SUSE Linux) on Alibaba Cloud in Dec 2017.

In 2018, Alibaba Cloud has quickly expanded its support to SAP systems including:

• Supported on Linux – SAP HANA, SAP MaxDB, and SAP ASE
• Supported on Windows – SAP MaxDB, SQL Serve to run SAP Business Suite, and other applications on the SAP Application Server ABAP

Alibaba Cloud also passed the certification to run SAP Business One on HANA on Alibaba Cloud. Alibaba Cloud and SAP will continue to work together to offer joint technical solutions, ensuring

our customers with high serviceability and supportability.
