Upgrade window: Feb 18th 2019 00:00 - Feb 19th, 2019 00:00 (Beijing Time GMT+8)
Upgrade content: In order to have a better billing experience, we will upgrade the post-paid (pay-as-you-go) billing accuracy which adjusts the original discount amount from 3 decimal places to 6 decimal places.
Upgrade impact: This upgrade may affect the discount amount and pretax amount shown on your bill.
Example One:
Before the upgrade, the original amount on the bill was $1.236, and the original discount amount was $0.1854 which is 15% off. According to the original policy, the discount amount is $0.185 rounded to three decimal places. The pretax amount is $1.051.
After the upgrade, the discount amount will be rounded to six decimal places. The original price is $1.236, and the discount amount will be $0.185400, the pretax amount will be $1.050600. The pretax amount after the upgrade is therefore less than the pretax amount before the upgrade.
Example Two:
Before the upgrade, the original amount on the bill is $0.001, and the original discount amount is $0.0008 which is 20% off. According to the original policy, the discount amount is $0.001 rounded to three decimal places. The pretax amount is $0.0 After the, the discount amount will be rounded to six decimal places. The original price is $0.001, and the discount amount will be $0.000800, the pretax amount will be $0.000200. The pretax amount after the upgrade is therefore more than the pretax amount before the upgrade.
