Content:
The virtual IP address (VIP) that is assigned by WAF to domain names that are added in CNAME record mode to your Web Application Firewall (WAF) instance outside the Chinese mainland will be changed.

Impacts:
1. If you add your domain name to WAF in CNAME record mode, use a CNAME record to point the domain name to the CNAME that is assigned by WAF to the domain name, and do not configure whitelist rules for the VIP, your website services are not affected.
2. If you use an A record to point your domain name to the VIP of WAF, your website services may be inaccessible.
3. If your website services are affected, you are notified by text message, email, and internal message.

Solutions:
If you add a domain name to WAF in CNAME record mode, use a CNAME record to point the domain name to the CNAME that is assigned by WAF to the domain name.
