Summary of change: In order to continuously improve network quality, Alibaba Cloud will optimize and upgrade the network in some regions. Regions will be upgraded one-by-one. During the upgrade, the network may experience several seconds of network jitter and packet loss. Please make sure your applications include a reconnection mechanism to ensure fault tolerance.
Impact of change: The upgrade time and impact on each region during the change are as follows:
Beijing time, September 13, 2018
03:00 - 06:30 (PST 11:00 - 14:30 on September 12), China East 1 (Hangzhou) region. Impact: Under normal circumstances, there will be no impact. In extreme cases, when users access the cloud resources in this area, they may experience 2 times of intermittent packet loss, each time will be less than 30 seconds. It can be restored to normal by application reconnection.
03:00 - 06:30 (PST 11:00 - 14:30 on September 12), China North 3 (Zhangjiakou) region. Impact: Under normal circumstances, there will be no impact. In extreme cases, when users access the cloud resources in this area, they may experience intermittent packet loss for no more than 5 seconds. It can be restored to normal by application reconnection.
