[High-risk Vulnerability Warning] Microsoft’s August “Patch Tuesday” Released 48 Vulnerability Patches

On August 8, 2017, Microsoft released patches for 48 CVE vulnerabilities on “Patch Tuesday”. Compared to the announcement in July, the vulnerabilities related to the patches are relatively minor. A total of 26 CVEs were rated “Critical”, 21 rated “Important” and 1 rated “Medium”. The software and service security updates involved in the patches are as follows.

1. Adobe Flash Player
2. Microsoft Windows
3. Microsoft Scripting Engine
4. Microsoft Edge Browser
5. Internet Explorer
6. Microsoft JET Database Engine
7. Windows Search
8. Windows Hyper-V
