Important Notice: Alibaba Cloud Announces the Default VPC Network Strategy in East China 2 Region

Dear Alibaba Cloud users,

In order to optimize and improve the user experience on network, Alibaba Cloud announces the default VPC network strategy, i.e. switch VPC network as default network type, which will firstly start in East China 2 region from 12:00am (UTC+8) June 16, 2016. As a result the following changes will occur in East China 2 region, including:

• User can continue to buy both classic network and VPC network type products in all regions for those who has ECS, SLB or ApsaraDB for RDS in any regions at 0:00am (UTC+8) June 1, 2016.
• User can continue to buy both classic network and VPC network type products in East China 2 for those who has ECS, SLB or ApsaraDB for RDS in East China 2 at12:00am (UTC+8) June 16, 2016.
• User can only buy VPC network products including ECS, SLB or ApsaraDB for RDS in East China 2 for who does not have ECS, SLB or ApsaraDB for RDS in East China 2at 12:00am (UTC+8) June 16, 2016 and does not have ECS, SLB or ApsaraDB for RDS in all regions at 0:00am (UTC+8) June 1, 2016.

Please note the above default VPC network strategy in East China 2 will not effect on other regions' network. Users could choose classic network products or VPC network products in all regions apart from East China 2.
