Announcement of Alibaba Cloud CentOS 5.11 image removal

Dear user,

Alibaba Cloud will remove the following two CentOS 5 images on May 2nd, 2017, because CentOS officially stops all updates and maintenance for CentOS 5:

1. CentOS 5.11 32-bit

2. CentOS 5.11 64-bit

For your existing instances and user-defined images, you need to delete the epel.repo file under the /etc/yum.repo.d/ directory to use the yum service normally (yum source will not be updated anymore).

If you must use a CentOS 5.11 image to create an instance, make the user-defined image ready before removing it.
