As of yet, the same as OpenTSDB, TSDB lacks an authentication and access control system. Therefore, no authentication is required when accessing the APIs. However, on the Alibaba Cloud, TSDB provides you with dedicated VPC networks to safeguard your data security. Besides, TSDB also allows you to create an IP address whitelist for access control at a finer granularity.
