After an Alibaba Cloud service is connected to Prometheus Service, you can view the metrics of the cloud service from Grafana dashboard. This topic describes how to view the monitoring data of a cloud service from Grafana dashboard.

Prerequisites

The cloud service that you want to monitor is connected to Prometheus Service. For more information, see Create a Prometheus instance to monitor an Alibaba Cloud service.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Prometheus Monitoring > Prometheus Instances.
  3. In the top navigation bar of the Prometheus Monitoring page, select the region where the Prometheus instance resides.
    On the Prometheus Monitoring page, all the clusters connected to Prometheus Service are displayed. If the Monitoring object type of an instance is Cloud services, the instance is a Prometheus instance that monitors Alibaba Cloud services. Cloud service list
  4. Click the name of the Prometheus instance that you want to view.
  5. In the left-side navigation pane, click Dashboards.
    On the Dashboards page, the dashboards for the Alibaba Cloud services that are connected to Prometheus Service are displayed.
    Note
    • If CMS is displayed in the Source column, the corresponding dashboard displays the metrics of an Alibaba Cloud service that is connected to Prometheus Service by using CloudMonitor. The metrics are updated if the connected Alibaba Cloud services change.
    • If CloudProduct is displayed in the Source column, the corresponding dashboard displays the metrics of an Alibaba Cloud service that is directly connected to Prometheus Service.

  6. Click the name of a dashboard to view the monitoring data of the corresponding Alibaba Cloud service on the Grafana dashboard.
