You can call this operation to extend the retention period of the classic network of a MongoDB instance.

Before you call this operation, make sure that the following requirements are met:

  • The instance is in the running state.
  • The network of the instance is in hybrid access mode.
Note This operation is applicable only to replica set and sharded cluster instances, but not to standalone instances.

The connection string of the instance

The region ID of the instance. You can call the DescribeRegions operation to query the region ID of the instance.
