This topic describes how to delete elastic container instances that are no longer needed. After an instance is deleted, billing of the instance stops.

The status of an elastic container instance varies with the stage of the instance in the lifecycle. For more information, see Lifecycle of an elastic container instance.
Procedure
Log on to the Elastic Container Instance console.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Container Group page, find the elastic container instances that you want to delete, and then perform one of the following operations:
Click Delete in the Actions column of the elastic container instance that you want to delete.
Select one or more elastic container instances and click Delete Elastic Container Group in the bottom of the page.
In the message that appears, click OK.
