Account Management:I cannot log on. What can I do to solve the problem?

Last Updated:Mar 14, 2018

If you cannot log on to alibabacloud.com, change your browser’s default privacy settings, which block third-party cookies interfere with logon service, and can keep you from logging on to the Alibaba Cloud website. To resolve this issue, see the following methods for your browser of choice:

Internet Explorer

You can resolve the logon issue in two ways:

Allow all cookies

  1. Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools > Internet options.

  2. Click Privacy and you can set for cookies in two ways.Internet Explore

    • Under Settings, move the slider to the bottom to allow all cookies, and click OK.

    • Or click Advanced. Check the Override automatic cookie handling and Always allow session cookies boxes, and click OK.

      settings

  3. Click OK on the Internet options dialog box.

Allow cookies for Alibaba Cloud logon

You can manually specify the Allow decision for specific sites.

  1. Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools > Internet options.

  2. Click Privacy > Sites.

  3. Enter the domains of Alibaba Cloud as follows and click Allow:

    g.alicdn.com

    ynuf.alipay.com

    myaccount.aliyun.com

    aliyun.com

    alibabacloud.com

    account.alibabacloud.com

    Specify cookies

  1. In Safari, open Preferences from the Safari menu in the upper left side corner of your screen.

  2. Click Privacy and a dialog box appears.

  3. Set the Cookies and website data to Allow from websites I visit or Always allow.

    safari privacy

If you still face issues, click on Extensions and disable any additional privacy tools you may have installed. If you are using a privacy extension which allows whitelisting certain domains, make sure that both alibabacloud.com and aliyun.com are in the whitelist.

Firefox

  1. In the menu of Firefox, click Preferences (on Mac OSX) or Options (on Windows).

  2. Click Privacy & Security.

  3. In the History section, check Accept cookies from websites, and set Accept third-party cookies to Always.

If you want to protect your privacy and avoid advertising and tracking cookies, we recommend that you install EFF’s Privacy Badger (available as a Firefox extension). It helps you block most of the intrusive third-party cookies.

If you still face problems even after changing your cookie settings, make sure you do not have any other extensions installed which override your cookie settings (some privacy protection extensions can do this).

Chrome

You can resolve the logon problem in two ways:

Allow third-party cookies for all sites

Chrome’s default settings do not interfere with our logon service. However, if you (or an extension you use) have changed the default settings, you must modify your settings.

  1. Open Chrome’s cookie preferences by typing: chrome://settings/content/cookies into Chrome’s URL bar.

  2. Slide the slider to enable Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) and disable the Block third-party cookies by sliding the slider to the left.

    chrome1

If you want to be protected against the third-party tracking cookies, we recommend that you install an intelligent blocking tool like EFF’s Privacy Badger (available as a chrome extension).

Allow cookies required for Alibaba Cloud logon

Another possibility is to explicitly allow only the cookies required for logging on to alibabacloud.com.

  1. Open Chrome’s cookie preferences by typing: chrome://settings/content/cookies into Chrome’s URL bar.

  2. In the cookie settings, after turning on Block third-party cookies, click ADD in the Allow section to add the following domains:

    [*.]g.alicdn.com

    [*.]ynuf.alipay.com

    [*.]myaccount.aliyun.com

    [*.]aliyun.com

Note: The [*.] in front of each item is required.

    chrome2

If you still face any issues, disable any privacy related Chrome extensions (except Privacy Badger) you may have installed.
