You can choose to turn on auto-renew when purchasing new Marketplace products. If you do, your ECS instance and marketplace image will be automatically renewed each month. If you choose not to use auto-renew, you can either allow your ECS instance and marketplace image to expire at the end of your billing period, or manually renew them from within the ECS console. Renewing an ECS instance which was created when purchasing a Marketplace image will automatically cause your Marketplace image to be renewed as well.
