Alibaba Cloud Domain Names is a one-stop platform for domain registration,monitoring, and protection. It integrates with Alibaba Cloud DNS for end-to-end domain management.
Domain name registration
To use a domain name for your website, email, or other services, register one on the Domain Name Registration page. Before registering, create a registrant profile and complete identity verification. After registration, configure DNS records to bring the domain online.

Alibaba Cloud supports a wide range of domain extensions. Choose your domain on the Domain Name Registration page. For more information, see Register a domain name.

DNS:
After registration, configure DNS records to point your domain to your website or other services. Alibaba Cloud DNS provides stable, secure, and fast resolution.
Domain name brokerage
If a domain you want is already registered, use the brokerage service to acquire it. This service covers price inquiry, negotiation, analysis, acquisition, and secure transfer. For more information, see Purchase a registered domain name.

Domain name renewal and redemption:
Monitor your domain's expiration date. Alibaba Cloud sends renewal reminders to your registered mobile number and email. Renew before the domain expires. For more information, see Domain name renewal. If you miss the renewal window, the domain enters a redemption period and can be recovered at a higher cost. Domain name information maintenance:
Manage domain information by creating and maintaining registrant profiles in the console and associating them with your domains. Modify non-registrant information directly. To change the registrant or other details, see Domain Name Information Modification.

To authorize other users to manage your domain, attach the required policies in the RAM console.

The domain name management portal is a legacy feature available only to certain HiChina agent accounts and is no longer offered. All other accounts should use the RAM console for authorization.

If your non-HiChina agent account previously enabled this portal, you may continue to use it. However, once disabled, it cannot be re-enabled.
