1. How to purchase DMS Advanced Edition?
Each DMS user account corresponds to one Alibaba Cloud primary account or RAM user account.
The number of DMS user accounts cannot be less than the database accounts in the company. For example, if you have one database administrator, three developers, and one tester, you need to purchase at least five DMS user accounts.
If you want to purchase five DMS user accounts, you can purchase one DMS advanced account for your Alibaba Cloud primary account and grant advanced permissions to four other accounts.
2. What happens after an advanced account has expired?
After an advanced account has expired, the account is automatically downgraded to a free account.
After an advanced account has expired, you need to purchase DMS Advanced Edition again to use advanced permissions. We recommend that you renew your account subscription in advance.
3. How to change the number of DMS user accounts?
DMS allows you to upgrade your subscription to enable more user accounts at any time.
DMS does not allow you to downgrade your subscription to decrease user accounts until the current subscription period ends.
After the current subscription period has ended, the advanced account is automatically downgraded to a free account. You can then change the number of user accounts based on your needs.
