    ApsaraDB RDS:What do I do if the "client partition is empty" error message is displayed in the change tracking logs of DTS?

    The "client partition is empty,wait partition balance" error message is displayed in the change tracking logs of Data Transmission Service (DTS). This is because multiple clients obtain data by using the same change tracking ID.

    Problem description

    The following information is displayed in the change tracking logs of DTS: 

    [ Thread-1:11039 ] - [ INFO ] client partition is empty,wait partition balance

    Causes

    A change tracking ID can be used only for one client to obtain data. If multiple clients use the change tracking ID, only one client can obtain data, and the error message is returned for other clients.

    Solution

    If the client that obtains data is faulty, another client can obtain data. In this case, the disaster recovery feature of DTS is used.
