What are the A record and CNAME record on DNS?

Last Updated: Jun 27, 2018

A record is for resolving a domain name into an IP address, while the CNAME record is for resolving a domain name to another domain name. How to add an A record?

For example, when using CDN, you need to bind your CDN domain to the CNAME provided by us. Once a CNAME record is added, all the access requests to your CDN domain would be distributed to our CNAME address, namely our node address, and access will be directed to our node to allow acceleration.
