This topic describes the default path in which a Cloud Backup client is installed on Linux or Windows and in which the logs of the Cloud Backup client are stored.
Cloud Backup client of the latest version
For a Cloud Backup client that is installed for the first time by using the Cloud Backup console
On Linux, you can view the logs in the /opt/alibabacloud/hbrclient/logs path.
On Windows, you can view the logs in the C:\Program Files\Aliyun Hybrid Backup Service Client\logs path.
ImportantWhen you install a Cloud Backup client on Windows, the Windows system generates a setup log file in the %temp% path by default. The name of the file is similar to Setup Log 2022-08-15 #001.txt. If the client fails to be installed, you can re-obtain and enter the verification code to install the client. If the installation still fails, you can send this file to the technical support engineer to quickly resolve the issue.
Logs of a Cloud Backup client for database backup
By default, the logs of a Cloud Backup client for database backup are stored in one of the following paths:
SQL Server
C:\ProgramData\scutech\dbackup3\agent\log\dbackup3-agent.log
MySQL
/var/log/dbackup3/agent.log
Oracle
Linux: /var/log/dbackup3/agent.log
Windows: C:\ProgramData\scutech\dbackup3\agent\log\dbackup3-agent.log
For a Cloud Backup client that is installed by using the Anti-ransomware feature in the Security Center console
On Linux, you can view the logs in the /usr/local/aegis/hbrclient/logs path.
On Windows, you can view the logs in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Alibaba\Aegis\hbrclient\logs path.
Cloud Backup client of an earlier version
Linux
You can view the logs in the /opt/alibabacloud/hbr/logs path.
Windows
