This topic describes how to create a repository in Alibaba Cloud DevOps Packages.
Create a repository
Log on to Packages. In the upper-right corner of the Repositories page, click Create Repository.
On the Create Repository page, specify the parameters as described in the following figure and table and click Create to complete the repository creation.

Description
Repository Type
The type of the repository. Valid values: Generic, Maven, Npm, PyPI, and NuGet.
Repository Name
The name of the custom repository.
Repository Address
The address of the repository.
Repository Mode
The repository mode. Valid values:
Hybrid (Artifact Storage and Remote Repository Proxy).
Proxy (Remote Repository Proxy Only).
Version Policy
The version policy. Required if Repository Type is set to Maven.
Valid values: release and snapshot.
Visibility
The repository visibility. Valid values:
Private (accessible only to repository members) (default)
Visible to Organization (accessible to members within the organization)
Description
The description of the repository.
