WUYING Terminal:View notification messages

Last Updated:Sep 05, 2025

When you use a cloud computer, you receive various types of messages, including real-time messages, notification center messages, and instant alerts about the cloud computer's running status. The notification center displays notices about changes triggered by management operations, such as status updates, specification adjustments, and policy modifications. This topic describes how to view and manage messages in the notification center and how to configure preference settings for instant alert messages.

Important

This topic uses the macOS client V7.13 and the Enterprise Edition as an example. If your experience differs from the description in this topic, you may be using a different client or an outdated version. Upgrade to the latest version.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged on to the desktop client. For more information, see Log on to the desktop client.

  • You have been assigned a cloud computer. If no cloud computer is available after you log on, contact your IT administrator to have one assigned to you. For more information, see Add a user to a cloud computer.

Background information

You can receive messages on your cloud computer in several ways, including real-time messages, notification center messages, and instant alert messages.

  • Real-time messages: Real-time messages are triggered when an administrator performs operations on your cloud computer. These operations include setting scheduled tasks, performing instant operations such as shutdown and restart, changing policies, modifying resource specifications, assigning or revoking resources, and performing system upgrades or remote assistance. While using the cloud computer, you can view these pop-up messages in the real-time message panel.

    Note

Only images of V1.3.0 and later support real-time messages.

  • Notification center: Messages in the notification center inform you about updates and execution results for your cloud computer. You can use the following categories to quickly find operation records for your account or cloud computer.

    • Campaigns: Displays information about offers and promotions related to cloud computers.

    • Management Messages: Displays information about management operations performed by an administrator on your cloud computer. This includes configuration messages for tasks such as setting scheduled tasks, granting access to cloud computers or cloud disks, changing usage policies, modifying resource specifications, and assigning or revoking resources. It also includes pre-execution messages, execution results, and expiration reminders for your cloud computer.

    • System Messages: Displays system information for the current cloud computer. This includes configuration messages, execution messages, and execution results for image version updates.

  • Instant alert messages: These alerts are sent when the cloud computer has high memory usage, low disk space, or high CPU load. You can enable or disable these alerts as needed.

Note
  • Messages in the notification center are kept for 180 days. Review unread messages promptly to avoid missing important information.

  • Messages displayed within a cloud computer are specific to that computer. If you have multiple cloud resources, you can click the icon in the upper-right corner of the cloud resource list in the client to view all messages for the current account, including management messages, system messages, and campaigns.

Prerequisites

You can view notification messages only if the following conditions are met:
