VPN Gateway:Overdue payments

Last Updated:Mar 05, 2026

This topic describes the rules for overdue payments for IPsec-VPN.

Overdue Payments for VPN Gateway Instances

If an IPsec-VPN connection is attached to a VPN Gateway instance with an overdue payment:

  • Your VPN Gateway instance will continue to provide service for 15 days after a payment is overdue. Please renew the instance and top up your account promptly.

  • If your payment is 15 days overdue, the service for your VPN Gateway instance will be paused.

If you renew a VPN Gateway instance while its service is paused, the system automatically settles any overdue bills. The VPN Gateway instance resumes service immediately after the payment is successful.

  • If your service has been paused for 15 days and the bill remains unpaid, the VPN Gateway instance will be automatically released.

One day before the VPN Gateway instance is released, the system will send a text message and an email reminder. After the release, its associated configurations and data will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

Overdue payments for IPsec-VPN connections

If an overdue payment occurs for a TransitRouter instance with an attached IPsec-VPN connection:

  • Your IPsec-VPN connection will continue to function for 15 days after a payment becomes overdue. Please renew your service promptly.

  • If your payment is 15 days overdue, your IPsec-VPN connection service will be paused.

If you renew a paused IPsec-VPN connection, the system automatically pays any unpaid bills, and the connection immediately resumes service upon successful payment.

  • Your IPsec-VPN connection is automatically released if your service remains suspended for 15 days due to an unpaid bill.

One day before the IPsec-VPN connection is released, the system will send a text message and an email reminder. After the release, its associated configurations and data will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
