This topic describes the release notes for ApsaraVideo Player SDK for Android and provides links to relevant references.
Important ApsaraVideo Player SDK for mobile devices has added a Professional Edition based on the Standard Edition since February 14, 2025 (starting from version 7.0.0). To obtain the Professional Edition, contact your sales representative. For authorization operation guidance, see Integrate ApsaraVideo Player License.
When you purchase resources of ApsaraVideo VOD, ApsaraVideo Live, or Intelligent Media Services that reach a certain amount, you can obtain a one-year License authorization for the Professional Edition of ApsaraVideo Player SDK. For more information, see ApsaraVideo Player SDK billing.
The newly obtained Professional Edition License for ApsaraVideo Player SDK for mobile devices supports only version 7.0.0 or later. Before you obtain a License, make sure that you check the version of ApsaraVideo Player SDK that is integrated in your application. If you are using a version earlier than 7.0.0, the Standard Edition features will not be affected, but you need to pay for renewal after expiration.
