This topic describes how to search for virtual private clouds (VPCs), route tables, and vSwitches by using the automatic identification and fuzzy match features.
Automatic identification
- Log on to the VPC console.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region of the VPC.
- On the VPCs page, select Automatic Identification from the drop-down list. You can also select VPC Name or VPC ID from the drop-down list to perform exact match.
- In the field next to Automatic Identification, enter a keyword. You can view all VPC names and VPC IDs that contain the keyword.
Fuzzy match
You can use fuzzy match to search for route tables and vSwitches. The following example describes how to use fuzzy match to search for vSwitches.
- Log on to the VPC console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click vSwitch.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region of the VPC to which the vSwitch belongs.
- On the vSwitch page, select Fuzzy Match from the drop-down list. You can also select Instance Name, Instance ID, or VPC ID from the drop-down list to perform exact match.
- In the field next to Fuzzy Match, enter a keyword and click

- Fuzzy match: Enter a keyword to search for results that contain the keyword.
- Exact match: Enter the complete name or ID to search for the exact result.
