After a vSwitch owner shares a vSwitch with you, you can use the vSwitch without confirmation from the owner. This topic describes how to create cloud resources in a shared vSwitch and view shared vSwitches as a participant.

Create cloud resources in the shared vSwitch

You can create cloud resources of different types in the shared vSwitch as a participant.

On the vSwitch page, you can create Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances, and ApsaraDB RDS instances. If you want to create resources of other types, see the relevant topics.

  1. Log on to the VPC console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click vSwitch.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the shared vSwitch is deployed.
  4. On the vSwitch page, find the vSwitch in which you want to create a cloud resource, click Create in the Actions column, and then select the cloud resource that you want to create.
You can create ECS instances, CLB instances, and ApsaraDB RDS instances. For more information about the parameters, see the relevant documentation.
