What does Available Credit mean and how is it calculated?

Your Available Credit represents the total amount you can spend in your Alibaba Cloud account. It is a combination of your Cash Balance, credit limit, and any credit refunds. You can view your current Available Credit and its calculation formula on the Billing Account page within the Expenses and Costs console. The formula shows the relationship between your Available Credit, credit limit, and unsettled charges.

What is the difference between an Account ID and a UID in Alibaba Cloud?

An Account ID identifies your billing account within the new Expenses and Costs console, whereas a UID identifies your Alibaba Cloud account itself.

In most cases, the Account ID is a background identifier that you can ignore. For more details, see What is a billing account?

Important

When you set up a Payment Account in the User Center, the system uses the Account ID in the "Payment Account" field, not the UID. To avoid confusion and select the correct account, always verify it using the Logon Name.
