Use the TSDB console to purchase and configure a TSDB for InfluxDB® instance. After the instance is running, you can connect to it from resources in the same virtual private cloud (VPC) and start writing time series data.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:

An Alibaba Cloud account with real-name verification completed

A VPC in the region where you plan to create the instance
Procedure

Log on to the Time Series Database (TSDB) console.

On the Instance List page, click Create InfluxDB.

On the instance purchase page, configure the following parameters and click Buy Now.

Product Type
Select InfluxDB®.
Region
The region where the instance resides.
Zone
The zone where the instance resides.
Network Type
The default value is VPC.
VPC
Select a VPC in the current zone.
vSwitch
Select a vSwitch.
Instance Type
Select the type of the instance. Standard Edition (Basic Plan) and High-availability Edition are supported.
Specifications
The specifications of the instance.
Storage Capacity
The storage capacity of the instance.
Instance Name
The custom name of the instance.
Quantity
The number of instances to purchase.
Subscription Duration
The subscription duration of the instance. You can check Auto-renewal on Expiration to prevent resource release caused by overdue payments.

Click Buy Now and complete the payment.
After you complete the purchase, you can go to the Instance List page and click Manage to view the details of the new instance.
Create an instance

Log on to the TSDB console.

On the Instances page, click Create.

On the purchase page, configure the following parameters, then click Buy Now.
Parameter Description Product Type Select InfluxDB®. Region Select the region where you want to create the instance. Choose the region closest to your application to minimize latency. Zone Select the zone within the region. Network Type Select VPC. This is the default network type. VPC Select the VPC in the selected zone. Select the same VPC as your ECS instance or application server to enable connectivity. vSwitch Select a vSwitch. Cluster Type Select the cluster type. Valid values: Standard Edition and High-availability Edition. Instance Specifications Select the CPU and memory configuration. Start with a smaller specification and scale up as needed. Storage Capacity Specify the storage capacity based on your estimated data volume. Instance Name Enter a name for the instance. Quantity Specify the number of instances to create. Duration Select the subscription period. Enable Auto-renewal to automatically renew the instance before it expires and avoid service interruption. -
Complete the payment.
After payment, go to the Instances page and click Manage in the Actions column to view the instance details.
