This topic provides an overview of the billable items of Tair and their prices. To create a Tair instance, you must pay the associated fees of the selected instance type. If you enable the audit log feature or purchase extra bandwidth for an instance that is in the Running state, you are charged additional fees.

When you create a Tair instance, you can choose to be billed on a subscription or pay-as-you-go basis. Fees vary based on the instance type. If you select the subscription billing method, fees vary based on the subscription duration. For more information about instance billing, see Billing methods. Note Fees for instance types include disk fees that cannot be modified. Disks are used to store logs, temporary backup files, and append-only files (AOFs) for system operation. | |
After you enable the audit log feature, you are billed hourly based on the storage usage and retention period of generated audit logs. | |
Each instance type provides a specified amount of bandwidth. For more information, see Overview. If the bandwidth of an instance is insufficient to handle traffic peaks for events such as flash sales, you can adjust the bandwidth of the instance or enable bandwidth auto scaling for the instance without changing the specifications of the instance. You are billed daily based on the amount of extra bandwidth that you purchase and the duration for which the extra bandwidth is used. |

Fees for audit log storage
Audit logs are billed hourly based on their storage usage. For example, if an instance in the China (Hangzhou) region stores 100 GB of audit logs for 1 hour, you are charged USD 0.2.

Fees for extra bandwidth
Extra bandwidth is billed on a daily basis. For example, if you manually purchase an extra bandwidth of 10 Mbit/s for your instance located in the China (Hangzhou) region, you are charged USD 0.02 per hour. This fee is calculated based on the following formula: USD 0.0020 × 10 MB = USD 0.02.
