Upgrade, temporarily upgrade, or downgrade your Smart Access Gateway (SAG) resources as needed.
Upgrades
Upgrade an SAG hardware instance or an SAG vCPE instance
Before you upgrade, note the following information:

Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, locate the target instance and, in the Actions column, choose .
On the Change Specifications page, change the Peak Bandwidth for the SAG instance, review and agree to the Terms of Service, and then click Buy Now and complete the payment.
Temporary upgrades
When a temporary upgrade expires, the bandwidth reverts to its previous, lower specification. This can cause transient disconnections and dropped packets because of bandwidth throttling. Proceed with caution.
Before you temporarily upgrade an instance, note the following information:

Only SAG hardware instances and SAG vCPE instances support temporary upgrades. | A temporary upgrade to the peak bandwidth of an SAG instance usually takes effect immediately. However, the process may be delayed due to network issues. Wait a few minutes for the upgrade to complete. | The temporary upgrade feature is suitable for scenarios such as large-scale promotions or online operational activities during holidays. Use this feature to temporarily increase the peak bandwidth of an SAG instance. After the temporary upgrade expires, the SAG instance automatically reverts to its original bandwidth specification. The rules for temporary upgrades are as follows:

Perform a temporary upgrade
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, locate the target instance and, in the Actions column, choose .
On the Temporary Upgrade page, configure the Peak Bandwidth and Revert Time, agree to the Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and complete the payment.
Downgrades
To downgrade SAG hardware instances or SAG vCPE instances, submit a ticket.
