Smart Access Gateway (SAG) instances may become unavailable due to overdue payments or expiration. We recommend that you renew your SAG instances at the earliest opportunity to ensure business continuity. This topic describes how to renew an SAG instance.
Renew an SAG CPE instance or an SAG vCPE instance
Renewing an SAG hardware instance renews its bandwidth.
Renewing an SAG virtual customer-premises equipment (vCPE) instance renews both the instance and its associated bandwidth.
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to renew and choose in the Actions column.
On the page that appears, specify Duration, read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
Change specifications of an SAG CPE instance or an SAG vCPE instance during renewal
You can change the bandwidth specification of an SAG (Smart Access Gateway) hardware instance or an SAG vCPE instance during renewal to meet your business requirements. The new bandwidth specification applies for the entire renewal period.
Log on to the SAG console.
In the top navigation bar, select the region.
On the Smart Access Gateway page, find the SAG instance that you want to renew and change specifications, and choose in the Actions column.
On the page that appears, specify Duration and Peak Bandwidth. Read and select Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment.
