After an administrator grants product access, end users can view available products and their details in the Service Catalog console.
Prerequisites
- The end user must have management permissions for the Service Catalog console. For more information, see Grant permissions to an end user.
- The end user must have product access permissions. For more information, see Grant product access to an end user.
Background
End users can be RAM users or RAM roles. After logging on to the Service Catalog console, they can view the product list. The following logon methods are supported:- RAM users: See Log on to the Alibaba Cloud console as a RAM user.
- RAM roles: Log on by using single sign-on (SSO). For more information, see SAML role SSO overview and OIDC role SSO overview.
Procedure
- Log on to the Service Catalog console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Products.
- On the Products page, view the product list.
The product list displays details such as the product name, ID, description, and provider.
- Click a product name to view its product information, versions, and launch options.
- In the Product information section, view details such as the ID, Alibaba Cloud Resource Name (ARN), provider, creation time, and description.
- On the Product version tab, view the details of different versions.
Choose a version based on its status. We recommend using a Recommendation or the Latest. Avoid using versions marked as Abandoned.
- On the Launch Options tab, view the product portfolios that contain the product and their corresponding launch instructions.
