This topic provides an overview of tags in CLB. CLB provides the tag management feature that allows you to classify CLB instances by using tags.
Each tag consists of a key and a value. Before you use tags, take note of the following limits:
- Tags must be added to CLB instances.
- Each CLB instance can have a maximum of 10 tags.
- The keys of tags that are added to an instance must be unique. If you add a new tag that uses the same tag key as an existing tag, the new tag overwrites the existing tag.
- Tags are region-specific resources and cannot be used across regions. For example, tags that are created in the China (Hangzhou) region are invisible to the China (Shanghai) region.
